Sydney Airport

Sydney Airport is Australia’s busiest airport and is one of Australia’s most important pieces of infrastructure. It is Australia’s premier international gateway and an essential part of the transport network, connecting to more than 90 destinations around the world. In 2018 the airport was used by more than 44 million passengers.

Sydney Airport’s vision is to deliver a world-class airport experience and foster the growth of organisation for the benefit of Sydney, NSW and Australia.

In 2017, Sydney Airport asked Newton Group to deliver business requirements and process analysis, process mapping services and change management services for their OH&S Safeguards program. Since that time, Newton Group has been proud to partner with Sydney Airport on the following projects:

  • Security CCTV policies and procedures - working with the security and technology teams to provide process analysis and mapping services
  • SAUP (Security Applications Upgrade) - a multi-phased program of work to replace end-of-life security systems being delivered by Chubb Security. This program aimed to provide an integrated suite of scalable, sustainable security systems and streamline business processes. Newton Group was sub-contracted to deliver requirements and process analysis, and end-to-end organisational change management services across the program.
